. These are too known as witches' butter'. It may be witnessed around dampish rocks, at a bottom of streams, lakes, & wells throughout & springs, and seldom in marine home ground. These bacterium every now and again contain photosynthetic pigments in their cytol to perform photosynthesis. These are the member of the personal Nostocaceae of the order Hormogonales.
